(This one's for you Jen Graham-we miss you!).
No this is not commentary on products manufactured in China or anywhere else. This is in reference to the name Asher has given to one of the gifts under our tree. His gift to be precise.
At this point I should explain that we generally give our kids 3 gifts (more if I forget that I bought stuff back in January). We put those babies under the tree as soon as it goes up. This is mainly because I get sick of storing them in my closet and everyone's poking around in there anyway. Well, I wrapped people's gifts in all the same paper. Emma got the cute paper, Ben got the Christmas tree wrap and Asher got the snowmen. It didn't take the kids a long time to figure this out.
Anyway, I got up from a nap and Asher led me to the newly put up tree. He then said, "I need to get my sharpy gift." WHAT?????? Emma translated, "He's talking about the gift with corners." Two of his gifts are soft and one is in a box. The box one is the "Sharpy Gift". The other two he is referring to as his "Squishy Gifts". My prediction: The cheap wrapping paper is going to disinegrate before December 25th!
Speaking of squishy, Asher is attempting to stay in his own bed tonight. His last willing bedmate (Emma) is alas getting a little tired of having her ear clawed all night. His newest attempt to stay in bed is using 6 different stuffed animals to line each side of his bed. He lost one and yelled, "Hey, one of my friends fell off!" I'll be curious to see how this works.
