I'm in Free Diaper Heaven!!!!

Oh my goodness!!!! There is an AMAZING deal going on at Walgreens! I just got 27 packages of diapers for about $5.00!!! Yep, you read that right! Actually, if my coupon had been approved at the first store I went to, I would have made a profit of $1.44!!!! It is so incredible!!!! I tried it out at a few stores this afternoon. It worked at some, not at others. Tonight my friend Caroline went out and hit 5 different Walgreens in our area and came back with A LOT of diapers!!!!! It was A LOT of fun!!!! Anyway, the jumbo diapers (Walgreen brand) are on sale for $5.99. In the July easy saver catalog at the front of the store there is a booklet with a $5.00 off two packs of diapers. If you go to the pharmacy and ask about their prescription savings program you can also ask for their $50 coupon booklet. Inside there is a coupon for $2.00 off. This ends up ringing off of each diaper you buy. Well, you go get three packs of jumbo diapers either red or white (NO GREEN). Do not buy size one. Any other size will work. The cashier will ring them up. Have her scan the $5.00 off coupon. It will take off $2.50 from each package of diapers. Then have the cashier scan the $2.00 off coupon. It will take automatically off of all three diapers. With my sales tax, the total was $4.84 total for three packs of diapers. Then, you will get your receipt AND a coupon for $5.00 off your next purchase of ANYTHING. Do NOT use these to buy diapers as you will not get the instant coupon. Only buy 3 at a time to get the coupon.

Now I had problems in some stores, and in others the coupons worked just fine. In one store I ended up paying $11 out of pocket and then getting the coupon. I still thought that was worth it. On the other transactions I actually MADE 16 cents profit!!!!

Anyway, if you have a Walgreens in your area and you are not picky about diaper brands, this is a fabulous deal to try out this week. LOVE IT!!!!!!
