Yes, we do get the funny comments from my two guys and they will make the blog quite frequently. However, I will be quick to note that Emma is just as much a part of our family as the rest of them. I haven't been able to sleep (dang it!) but it has given me an opportunity to think about her and how grateful I am that she is a part of our family.
I am pretty sure that in terms of souls, Emma is much older than me. Though this is not gospel truth, I am thinking that before we got to this earth I was pretty worried about the whole parenting thing. I suspect that Emma deferred the parenting role to me and offered to come first and ease me into the whole experience. It worked.
Let me tell you, for the record, some of the things I LOVE about Emma.
1. She plays board games with me (I know, that's not very profound, but I really enjoy it).
2. She loves bargain shopping and is absolutely thrilled with hand me downs.
3. She wants to help our family in every way possible. She even offered to sell her art to help bring in more money (that one actually made me feel a little bad).
4. She really wants to be a mother when she grows up.
5. She is super patient with Asher who won't sleep without her.
6. She is loving and nurturing with Ava and Asher.
7. Though she won't admit it, she's best friends with Ben.
8. She is easy for other kids to get along with.
9. She loves Family Home Evening. I distinctly remember skipping the lesson a couple of times in Tennessee and Emma crying, "I want my lesson!"
10. As Emma's teacher put it, Emma has a very good sense of who she is. She is not willing to compromise that for any reason.
There are many, many wonderful things about Emma, but these are just a few. I love my Emma!

Wow, she is becoming quite the young lady. I can't beleive how much she is growing up. Just told Melissa how she used to call Ben and Emma, "Benemma." She doesn't remember but I thought it was pretty funny! :)
Emma is so great. I keep praying that my girls will turn out to be Emma's :)
Yea, a new blogging buddy! I love all your posts of funny things your kids say. My favorite is "I can't go to church because Ben has diabetes" Love that Asher.

I am so happy that you are joining all of us in our sick obsession. This is journaling right? :) HEHE!
Emma is so cute, and she looks so grown up, Sierra and I love Emma too!
You are so welcome! Anytime you need help let me know! Anything to have another buddy join the bloggig world!
I think another great thing about Emma is that she is beautiful, just like her mom. I think you should call her "mini me". Does she play Skippo too?
