Okay, I am not going to post an actual ode, but seriously, I LOVE mine. I rediscovered that baby living below my kitchen counter just last week. I do not know how someone with a newborn and three other kids survives any other way. Believe me, I've tried. Now, at some convenient moment in the morning I just dump a bunch of food in my crockpot and VIOLA! at 6 pm something lovely is ready to eat.
So, this Lean Rhimes song is for you, my beloved slow cooker (thank you Mom Creer for the gift).

Love the crock pot too! In the summer I put mine in my garage while cooking so I don't heat the kitchen up. Except in TX I wonder what kind of critters might find it... Do share recipes if you get a chance!

Hey cool lots of useful info on here. I discovered crockpot cooking at my aunts house 7 years ago and we immediately went out and bought one. It gets used once a week or so but I get tired of the same old recipes. I'll share mine if you share yours.
